I’m a man of a thousand parts
Each part is another person
Someone I have surely loved
Someone I have sorely hated
And yet another who passed
Like a ship in the night.
And the total of my being
Is the sum of all of them-
Added together and divided by,
Subtracted from one another,
And multiplied by one thousand.
